Recovery and maintenance

Day 11 - September 17, 2007

Today was all about working out the soreness and getting a couple of streak maintenance miles in. My Achilles tendons felt like they were about two inches shorter than normal and I didn't want to put a lot of stress on them. I'm going to start doing more stretching before and after the runs and hopefully that will help.

As I move farther along this 1000 day path, you'll see plenty more recovery days. The only way to keep a streak like this going is to stay injury free.
